We supposedly opted for a different restaurant but it was full and we hate to be wait listed since we were all too hungry. So we went to our all time favorite Grams Diner.

My brothers said they were a little full, but I'm guessing they're on a diet...yes?

Oh, I think I need to include the word diet on my vocabulary. I'm the one who actually needs it more than my brothers.
Jason: Ach, you're already a mother for crying out loud!
Janiz: I don't want to be a big cliche you know.
Jerard: Ach, at least you have a reason to look "lusyang"
Janiz: Hell no! I will not be called by that word in my lifetime! So you better or I'll sue you!
Jerard: Fine, fine. Curious question, how much do you weigh now?
Janiz: Oh, don't start with me brother. You're looking for war!
Jerard: Just asking. (hands up) I am now about to eat my fish and fries.

I love my daughter's expression at the sight of her food -- priceless. She learned to be quiet for a couple of minutes while her mouth was stuffed with food. And thereafter, she went back to her hyped up self except that it had an quite energy boost.
Kiara: Mom, can I have ice cream?
Janiz: Sure. What are you having?
Kiara: Vanilla.
Janiz: Again?
Kiara: It's my favorite flavor.
Janiz: You're so predictable.
Kiara: Is that a good or a bad thing?
Janiz: Oh no.
Kiara: What?
Janiz: That question is a prelude to more questions. I can see it coming.
Kiara: *grin* Ok, let's have this conversation some other time. Mom look, I like this spoon.
Janiz: I know.
Kiara: You do? How did you know?
Janiz: Did you forget? You're predictable.
Kiara: LOL
